Experience, Credentials, and Education

My carpentry journey began in 2000 at a vocational high school, where I built a strong foundation in carpentry and cabinet making. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to honing my skills and expanding my expertise, working with:

  • Homebuilders: From modest homes to the most modern and advanced builds in Rhode Island, I’ve been part of projects that range from framing to finishing the state’s premier homes.

  • Remodelers: Partnering with high-end design teams as well as companies focused on meeting the needs of everyday homeowners.

  • Master Cabinet & Furniture Makers: Creating custom, timeless pieces with precision and care.

I’ve also earned certifications and training that highlight my commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.

Here is a snippet of our continued education:

  • Lead Carpenter Certification: Through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), ensuring high standards of expertise in Carpentry.

  • OSHA Training: Promoting safe and healthy working conditions for clients and workers alike.

  • LEAD Certification: Expertise in working safely with pre-1978 homes to meet lead safety regulations.

  • Pre-Apprentice Electrical Training: Gained through the Residential Construction Workforce Partnership, allowing me to identify electrical concerns and ensure safety, though I do not perform licensed electrical work.

I continuously invest in my education through programs like:

  • Rhode Island Builders Association

  • National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI)

  • Udemy Online Academics

This ongoing dedication keeps me ahead of industry trends, enabling me to provide expert craftsmanship and empower homeowners with valuable knowledge.

A Little About Me

In 2018, I made Warwick, Rhode Island my home, but I’ve spent my entire career working in the Ocean State. Carpentry and furniture building aren’t just my profession—they’re my passion. Beyond my trade, I enjoy exploring creative outlets like digital and physical art, gardening, and experimenting with culinary techniques (including crafting my own hot sauces from homegrown peppers).

Art plays a central role in my life, from the furniture I design to the meals I create. Looking ahead, I aspire to open a workshop where I can teach Rhode Islanders how to tackle basic home repairs and small woodworking projects, empowering them to confidently manage their homes without relying on questionable YouTube tutorials.

When I’m not working or creating, you might find me cheering for the Rhode Island Football Club as a season ticket holder and avid tailgater.

Go RI-FC!

Thank you for considering Built In RI LLC for your next home project. I look forward to bringing your vision to life with care and expertise.
